Dr Abbas Tejani
Abbas is a GP Partner and Occupational Physician based in Leicester, UK. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Centre for Primary Care Research and is actively involved in medical education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. With extensive leadership experience, he has previously served on the Executive Board of his local hospital trust and as the Clinical Lead for Health Inequalities at Leicester CCG. Additionally, he is a highly experienced minor surgeon, carrying out approximately 2,500 procedures each year.
Dr Israh Al-Taei
Israh is a dedicated GP in Leicester with over a decade of experience in medical education. She is highly innovative in developing new teaching methods and plays a pivotal role in designing educational events. Many of the most impactful initiatives within Cornerstone Medical originate from her creative vision.

Hollie Clarke
Hollie has recently joined the Cornerstone Medical team as Marketing and Events Manager, bringing with her nearly a decade of experience in healthcare marketing and event management. She has successfully organised and delivered a wide range of in-person and online healthcare events. Hollie excels in fostering meaningful connections among healthcare professionals. She recognises the importance of building trust and loyalty within the medical community and is committed to ensuring Cornerstone Medical’s events provide both educational value and professional engagement.
Beyond her expertise in marketing, Hollie is driven by a strong sense of humanitarianism. She is passionate about initiatives that enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals, ultimately leading to better patient care. Dr Saly Al-Taei
Saly is a distinguished academic with a strong background in biological sciences, actively engaged in groundbreaking research and teaching. With a keen analytical mind and a passion for education, she plays a vital role in shaping the success of our events at Cornerstone Medical.
Her expertise extends beyond research—Saly is instrumental in organising and coordinating our educational events, ensuring they run seamlessly. She meticulously appraises data, analyses feedback, and contributes to refining our programmes to enhance learning outcomes.
