This course is designed to support professionals at every stage of their minor surgery journey. Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence, an intermediate wanting to refine your technique, or an experienced practitioner seeking an update or skills refresh, you’ll find the right level of challenge and support here.

With a flexible, learner-focused approach, we make sure no one is left behind—or left waiting around. Our training prioritises hands-on practice over heavy theory, giving you maximum opportunity to develop real, practical skills you can take back to your workplace.

Our Minor Surgery Courses for Healthcare Professionals are delivered at multiple locations across the UK. You can find full details of dates and locations below.

We’re proud to offer outstanding value for money, making our Minor Surgery Courses some of the most affordable and accessible in the UK. Our 1-day update course is just £350, and our comprehensive 2-day course is only £550..

Yes, for attending our 2-day Minor Surgery Course, you will receive 12 CPD points.

For our 1-day Minor Surgery Update Course, you will receive 6 CPD points on completion of the course.

Our Minor Surgery Course gives you the practical skills, confidence, and up-to-date guidance to perform minor surgical procedures in a safe, simulated environment. It’s designed as high-quality CPD, not a formal qualification, so it doesn’t automatically grant independent practice rights.

Exactly what you need to practice independently will depend on your role and workplace. For some, this may involve further qualifications; for others, it could be CPD training like this course combined with local competency sign-off, mentorship, or employer requirements.

If you’re not a prescriber, you’ll also need local arrangements for anesthetic use under a PGD or PSD before treating patients.

The course is popular with doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other NMC/HCPC-registered professionals - whether you’re building a foundation in minor surgery or refreshing existing skills.

With synthetic skin there are no entry restrictions, and you’ll get the chance to practice techniques in a safe, supportive setting.

Rather than a pass/fail exam, you’ll take part in formative assessments designed to strengthen your skills and support your professional growth.
