BOTOX AND FILLERS ADVANCED COURSE
Our Advanced Botox injection and Dermal Filler course will equip you with the theoretical knowledge, practical and business skills required to further your treatments in the thriving non-surgical aesthetic industry. You will learn:
- Mechanism and duration of action of botox and fillers
- Various products available and pros and cons of each
- Indications in dermatological and non-dermatological practice
- Advanced dermal filler techniques:
- Cheek augmentation
- Chin reshaping
- Nose reshaping
- Lip augmentation
- Hand rejuvenation
- Profhilo
- Tear trough treatment
- Various dermal filler preparations
- Practical assessment of the face and discussion on which treatments to recommend for client needs.
- Hands on training with models with emphasis on lip augmentation, cheek augmentation, chin reshaping, jaw contouring
- Advanced botox techniques:
- Jaw contouring
- Platysmal bands of the neck
- Chin, smoker’s lines, and gummy smile
- Hyperhidrosis
- Practical assessment of the face and discussion on treatments that would suit a client's needs
- Use of the Wrinkle Scale and management
- Reconstitution, dosage and injection technique
- Contraindications, complications and adverse events
- Hands on training with live models
- Licensing, legal implications and insurance
- Guidance on fine-tuning your aesthetic treatment business
The course will be extremely practical, with delegates fully insured to carry out procedures on live models and in small groups to build confidence in the techniques. You will be assessed one-to-one by our trainers, led by Dr. Baba, who will ensure that you meet the standard required, before certification. You will use high-quality products, akin to what you would use in a normal aesthetics clinic. Delegates will be provided with a course booklet with the teaching material, and a copy of dosage guides and a model consent form.
Dr Riyaz Baba, MBBS, MD, FRCA, EDIC is an Intensive Care consultant and has been practising non-surgical cosmetics since 2007. He is the Medical Director of the London, Surrey and Bedford Skin Clinic group. He has 17 years of experience in non- surgical cosmetic procedures ranging from simple procedures like Botox® and fillers to complicated procedures like Sculptra, PDO Thread face and neck contouring, and fat transfers. Dr Baba has performed thousands of injectable procedures. His talent, skill, and attention to detail in Aesthetics has earned him an enviable reputation among his patients and peers alike. Dr Baba has been a senior aesthetics trainer, and has trained doctors and nurses from all over the country and overseas since 2013.
Registration on the course is only open to healthcare professionals fully qualified and registered with their respective professional regulatory bodies, which includes:
- Doctors registered with the GMC (or equivalent)
- Dentists registered with the GDC (or equivalent)
- Nurses & Midwives registered with the NMC (or equivalent)
- Pharmacists registered with the GPhC (or equivalent)
- Prescriber ODPs
You must be able to demonstrate a valid registration number to be allowed to participate in the course. Healthcare professionals who qualified outside the UK will need to show proof of registration from their respective countries. You will need to have completed a Foundation Aesthetics course previously.
